~ understanding the power of prayer & special Prayers for World Peace
with Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong
February 28 – March 2 2025
We see so many problems in the world nowadays, with people experiencing great difficulties. We often wonder what we as Buddhists should do to help with these problems? Venerable Geshe-la’s advice is that our job is to pray, as this is the best method to benefit others.
On this course we will learn the nature of prayer, how to make our prayers powerful and effective, and how to unite prayer with our busy daily life. One of the highlights of the weekend will be engaging in special Prayers for World Peace together with a great assembly of practitioners in the Kadampa Temple for World Peace. Powerful results will definitely come from performing together these non-deceptive beneficial actions.
March 2 – 4 Retreat with Gen Kelsang Ananda, National Spiritual Director of Germany, Slovenia, Romania & Czech Republic and Resident Teacher of Tharpaland KMC and KMC Berlin in Germany.
This event will also be available via live streaming. As you will be joining a live event, sessions are only available at the scheduled time and will not be available afterwards.
Since this is a national event, you must be a resident of the United Kingdom to attend online.
