We see so many problems in the world nowadays, with people experiencing great difficulties. We often wonder what we as Buddhists should do to help with these problems? Ven Geshe-la’s advice is that our job is to pray, as this is the best method to benefit others.
On this course we will learn the nature of prayer, how to make our prayers powerful and effective, and how to unite prayer with our busy daily life. One of the highlights of the weekend will be engaging in special Prayers for World Peace together with a great assembly of practitioners in the Kadampa Temple for World Peace. Powerful results will definitely come from performing together these non-deceptive beneficial actions.

Gen-la Kelsang DekyongGen-la Kelsang Dekyong is the General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU and Resident Teacher and Special Teacher Training Programme Teacher at Manjushri KMC, the mother centre of modern Buddhism
She has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 30 years, sincerly training under his guidance in all aspects of modern Buddhism. Gen-la is recognized as a fully qualified Buddhist Teacher of both Sutra and Tantra.
