Mahamudra Tantra classes
with Gen-la Kelsang Jampa
These Wednesday evening drop-in classes, open to everyone, are part of the General Programme (GP) taught at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre. They are an ideal starting point for those interested to find out more about the practical application of Buddhism and meditation in modern life.
In this term of classes, Gen-la Jampa will focus on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s book Mahamudra Tantra, a clear and simple manual for practising Mahamudra Tantra – the quick and profound method for uncovering the deepest levels of peace and happiness within our own mind. In these classes Gen-la Jampa will explain clearly and succinctly how to prepare our mind for Mahamudra meditation, how to remove obstacles to successful practice, and how we can experience progressively subtler states of mind that will eventually lead us to the lasting happiness we long for.
