Gen-la Kelsang Jampa
The Resident Teacher at Manjushri KMC is Gen-la Kelsang Jampa.
Gen-la Jampa is an internationally renowned, ordained Buddhist teacher and the General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU).
As a senior NKT teacher, Gen-la Jampa has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years, and under Geshe-la's guidance has taught at many centers and events around the world.
Gen-la is well-loved for his clear and inspiring teachings and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity and loving-kindness.
General Spiritual Director
Besides being the Resident Teacher at Manjushri KMC, the mother centre of modern Kadampa Buddhism, Gen-la is the General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU. In addition to his responsibilities at Manjushri KMC, he teaches extensively at major events around the world.
Weekly Meditation Classes with Gen-la Jampa
Gen-la Jampa teaches the in-depth study programmes: Teacher Training Programme and Foundation Programme at Manjushri KMC.
Gen-la also teaches drop in classes on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday evenings.
